Black Labrador helps in senior citizen outreach

Sometimes it is easy to be on the outside looking in when it comes to thinking about the elderly in a nursing home. For Helena residents Rie and Dean Brown, and their black Labrador named Judy, every Thursday evening has turned into a blessing for the residents of Singing River Rehab and Nursing Center in Pascagoula. Dean Brown quoted scripture from James 1:27, “Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, ‘To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.’”
